Sample itinerary
Kuanzhai Alley, Wuhou Shrine and Jinli
Start late after breakfast and visit Kuanzhai Alley, then continue to Wuhou Shrine and Jinli Ancient Street. Dinner is arranged as a nourishing herbal hotpot before returning to the Chengdu city hotel.
Sichuan Cuisine Museum, Dujiangyan and Gurgou
Visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum for food culture, tasting and a cooking experience. In the afternoon, visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System, then drive to Gurgou and check in at a hot spring hotel.
Bipenggou and Gurgou hot springs
Depart for Bipenggou and spend about five hours exploring the valley's alpine forests, lakes, snowy peaks and winter scenery. Return to the Gurgou hotel and enjoy the hot springs according to the hotel's opening hours.
Dagu Glacier
Drive to Heishui County and visit Dagu Glacier in its winter version. The day focuses on accessible glacier scenery, snow views and highland landscapes before staying overnight in Heishui or Maoxian area.
Ancient Qiang City and Emei
Visit Mao County Ancient Qiang City for Qiang architecture and culture, then continue to Emeishan. In the evening, watch an Emei-themed performance and relax at the hot spring hotel.
Leshan Giant Buddha, Huanglongxi and Chengdu
Take a boat view of Leshan Giant Buddha, then visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Return to Chengdu for IFS, Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li before transferring to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.
Departure
Fly home or continue to another China destination. Final timing can be adjusted according to the approved flight schedule.
