Day by day

Sample itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Chengdu

Arrive at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and transfer by private vehicle to an airport-area hotel. This arrival day keeps meals flexible and focuses on rest after the flight.

Day 2

Kuanzhai Alley, Wuhou Shrine and Jinli

Start late after breakfast and visit Kuanzhai Alley for old Chengdu street life. Continue to Wuhou Shrine Museum and Jinli Folk Street, then enjoy a Hanfu dress-up experience in Jinli. Dinner is arranged as a nourishing herbal hotpot before returning to the Chengdu city hotel.

Day 3

Sichuan Cuisine Museum and Dujiangyan

Visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum for a museum, tasting and cooking-class experience. Guests cook Kung Pao Chicken with guidance from a Sichuan chef. In the afternoon, visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System and stay overnight in Dujiangyan.

Day 4

Wolong Panda Base and Mount Siguniang

Drive to Wolong and visit the Shenshuping base of the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda. Continue through the mountain road, stop at Maobiliang viewpoint for Mount Siguniang scenery, then join a Tibetan family dinner near the mountain town.

Day 5

Shuangqiao Valley

Enjoy a relaxed morning and explore Mount Siguniang Shuangqiao Valley by sightseeing bus. This valley is a gentle way to see snow peaks, forests, alpine streams and Western Sichuan mountain scenery without a strenuous hike.

Day 6

Yingxiu, Wenshu Monastery and Sichuan opera

Return toward Chengdu with a stop at the Yingxiu 512 earthquake memorial area. Continue to Wenshu Monastery for Chengdu temple and tea culture, then watch a Sichuan opera show with face-changing, fire-spitting and rolling-lamp skills.

Day 7

Modern Chengdu and airport transfer

Visit the IFS climbing panda, Chunxi Road, the 3D screen area, Taikoo Li and Daci Temple. After dinner, transfer to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport for the return flight.

Day 8

Departure

Return home or continue to another destination in China. The final timing can be adjusted according to the approved flight schedule.
